James A. Christopherson concentrates his practice in the areas of arbitration, mediation, health care law, construction litigation and oil and gas law. He represents construction and real estate clients, ambulatory surgery centers, physician hospital organizations, physicians, physician practices, healthcare organizations, joint ventures and physician organizations.

His practice includes representing clients in commercial and construction litigation and advising clients regarding compliance and fraud issues, contracts, employment issues, joint ventures, corporate issues including formation and succession issues, and tax exempt legal issues. He has personally argued before the United States Supreme Court. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University School of Law. He is a frequent author and speaker and he has authored several law review articles.
